From Drawing to Painting the figure

Lesson 2

In our second lesson we will look more closely at the face, we will create a portrait in charcoal together. We will move onto hands and feet.   I will explain, what you can see, and how you can understand how everything works. We will construct, getting the mystery out of hands and feet. With everything we’ve learned, we are able to manipulate, to later use within our work.

  • Sketch the face, hands and feet

  • Show joints and make them work in our drawings

  • Understand what you are seeing and drawing
