Cathrine Edlinger-Kunze is a German-born American artist whose career has evolved through decades of exhibitions across the United States, Germany, England, and Italy.

After moving to the United States in 1994, she steadily established herself as a distinctive voice in contemporary figurative art. Her highly expressive paintings, created primarily in acrylic and oil, explore emotion, strength, vulnerability, and the complexities of the human experience.

She is represented by three galleries: Paul Scott Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona; Jones & Terwilliger Galleries in Palm Desert and Carmel-by-the-Sea, California; and Peterson Contemporary Art Gallery in Bend, Oregon. She has presented numerous solo and group exhibitions, and her work is collected internationally.

In addition to her studio practice, Edlinger-Kunze teaches from her studio and leads workshops throughout the United States, sharing her passion for expressive contemporary painting with artists of all levels.
